Aesop‘s Fables have charmed people of all ages for thousands of years. They seem to lend themselves to the English classroom since they are quite short stories, and they carry an important moral for life.

This whole lesson activity is for intermediate students and can take about 90 minutes.

The activity starts with a warmer, and also some background information to Aesop. Then students can read and discuss four of Aesop’s most popular fables. Finally there is an optional writing task.
